Bajaj Chetak Experience Zone Inaugurated in Kathmandu

Bajaj Auto Ltd., in partnership with Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Bajaj two-wheelers in Nepal, has opened the country’s first exclusive Chetak Experience Zone in Naxal, Kathmandu.

The new showroom was inaugurated on August 4, 2025, by Mr. Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of the Golchha Group, along with senior representatives from Bajaj Auto and the company. Spanning 1,800 square feet, this modern facility is designed to give customers a complete electric vehicle experience under one roof.

Visitors can test ride the electric scooters on-site and make instant bookings. The space features a dedicated service area exclusively for Chetak scooters, interactive product displays, and expert consultations on electric mobility. The showroom also offers live charging demonstrations and has been designed with a clean, modern aesthetic—featuring soft lighting and digital interfaces that reflect the premium nature of the Chetak brand.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Golchha said that this showroom represents a strong commitment to making electric mobility easy and accessible for customers in Nepal. He emphasized that Chetak stands for timeless design, reliable performance, and a greener future. The launch event saw a strong turnout from EV enthusiasts, customers, and media, all eager to experience the newly launched Chetak 3501—an electric scooter made especially for urban riders in Nepal.

The new Chetak 3501 blends classic looks with advanced electric features. It offers a 153 km range on a single charge, a full-metal IP67-rated body for durability, and a 5-inch smart TFT screen with navigation, call, and music controls. Other key features include keyless entry, anti-theft alerts, remote immobilization, accident detection, and a class-leading 35-litre under-seat storage compartment. It also charges from 0 to 80% in just three hours—one of the fastest in its category.
